晚上六點則先到Auction場地品酒
有喜歡的酒
可以在拍賣上面填上名字和價位
那只是一個熱身而已
晚餐時間才是真正的拍賣
一大堆空酒杯任你拿
接下來是重頭戲的晚餐拍賣會
餐廳門口竟然有Hollywood 大型看板
紅地毯兩旁還有press 一直拍照
我趁機混在攝影師旁偷拍美女進來
我也拿一支牌子
但不敢舉手～哈
一共40 lots拍賣品
每一lot 都是不同酒的組合
有些拍賣更特別是 歐洲旅遊＋酒＋飯店等等 超吸引人的！
價格都從很低開始
我對於酒沒有很了解
所以不知那些酒有多特別
但這拍賣酒都是當地名人捐出來的好貨
拍賣拿到的錢則是做公益～救助貧窮學生當獎學金等等
非常有意義
晚餐的餐桌佈置
桌上都放著一盞復古的檯燈
main course - 羊排
晚餐最令我印象深刻的是友人帶來的這瓶白酒
2000年份 Hermitage Blanc
超順口～finish 香味很長
Hermitage是北隆河的頂極產區
Jean-Louis Chave 是該區非常有名的酒莊
難怪這麼好喝
整個拍賣會到11點多
我大約10點就好累想睡回房間
不知道最後拍賣品結果花落誰家
但過程很令我印象深刻

* 6:00 PM Silent Auction and Tasting
* 7:30 PM Dinner
* 8:30 PM Live Auction
* 10:00 PM Dancing
The 34th annual San Francisco Wine Auction will bring many of the world's finest vintners together with approximately 500 wine collectors and other bidders for an elegant evening of fine wine tasting, rare auction lots, live entertainment & dancing, and dinner prepared by the award winning staff of the Fairmont San Francisco. You can participate and help by attending the event, making a donation, or sponsoring a table.
